Cookie policy
This policy explains how the Baltic AI Commerce Association uses cookies and similar technologies on baica.net.

The short version
We run no analytics and no advertising trackers. The site is served as static pages with no tracking product, no retargeting pixels and no profiling. The only cookies on baica.net come from the forms: our newsletter, contact, membership and event forms are provided by HubSpot, and HubSpot sets cookies on the pages where a form appears.
What are cookies
Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytics. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by other services are "third-party" cookies.
What is set, and what is not
- HubSpot form cookies. Our forms are embedded from HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland Limited). HubSpot sets its own cookies, including a visitor identifier, to prevent abuse, remember form state and link a submission to the person who made it. These are set on pages that carry a form, and are governed by HubSpot's privacy policy.
- No analytics cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or any comparable product on this site.
- No advertising cookies. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, retargeting or profiling, and we never have.
- Server logs, which are not cookies. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for security and reliability. That is described in our Privacy policy.
Your choices
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking them will not affect reading anything on baica.net; it may stop the embedded forms from working, in which case you can always email us at hello@baltics.ai instead. Every form on the site has that fallback written next to it.
Third-party links
The site links out to third-party websites, for example source material cited in our research. Once you follow such a link, that third party's own cookie policy applies to your visit there.
If this changes
If we introduce analytics or any other cookie-setting technology beyond the forms described above, we will update this page before it goes live, state exactly what is set and why, and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
