Open Case Library

Documented AI implementations in commerce — what was deployed, what was reported, what to learn. Most AI case studies are written to sell software. This library is written to help commerce teams decide. Free, vendor-neutral, maintained by BAICA, a nonprofit research and education association.

Last updated: 22 July 2026

The library contains two types of cases:

  1. Case digests (available now). Structured summaries of publicly documented AI deployments at European and Baltic retailers, compiled by BAICA from published sources — corporate disclosures, trade press, and reported interviews. Every figure is taken directly from the cited source and linked. Where a company declined to publish numbers, we say so rather than estimate.
  2. First-party cases (from 2027). Detailed implementation write-ups contributed directly by commerce teams operating in the Baltics and Europe, reviewed and anonymised where requested. We are collecting contributions now.

Has your team implemented AI in a commerce business — successfully or not? Failed projects teach as much as successful ones, and we publish both. Cases can be anonymised on request.
