Accessibility statement

The Baltic AI Commerce Association is committed to making baica.net usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a normal part of design and development, not an afterthought.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML and meaningful headings.
  • Provide alt text for informative images.
  • Design for keyboard navigation and focus visibility.
  • Test colour contrast against WCAG AA thresholds.
  • Avoid content that flashes or moves in ways that could trigger seizures.
  • Serve every page as plain HTML that works without JavaScript, so the site remains usable on assistive technology and low-bandwidth connections.

Current status

baica.net is a small site under active development. We are aware that some pages may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA in all respects. We prioritise fixes on our own code first and re-test after each release.

Assistive technology

The site is built to work with the latest versions of screen readers and modern browsers. If you encounter a page or component that does not work well with your assistive technology, please tell us.

Reporting an issue

If you cannot access something on baica.net, or you have suggestions for how to make it more accessible, email hello@baltics.ai. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five working days and to describe the fix or workaround as soon as we have one.

Formal enforcement

If you are not satisfied with how we handle an accessibility complaint, you can contact the relevant national body in your jurisdiction. In Latvia, the enforcing authority for the accessibility of digital services is the State Regional Development Agency (Valsts reģionālās attīstības aģentūra).

Everything we publish is free.

Guides, research notes and case digests, with no sign-up and no paywall. Membership is how the work gets funded and shaped, and it is free during 2026.
